Identified - Important Notice: Compatibility Issue with Shopify POS Version 10.0.0

We would like to inform you that Shopify has recently released a new version of their Point of Sale system (Shopify POS 10.0.0), which is currently causing compatibility issues with the Yotpo Loyalty POS integration.

Our R&D team has identified the issue and prepared a hotfix, which is scheduled for validation and deployment by tomorrow.

In the meantime, we recommend not updating to Shopify POS version 10.0.0 until the fix is released, to avoid any disruptions in your service.

Update - Incident Update:

We want to keep you informed about an ongoing issue that our R&D team is actively working to resolve. At the moment, the following functionalities may be impacted:

1. Updates from Shopify (e.g. tags, emails)
2. Opt-in/opt-out customer flows
3. VIP tiers, including:
- Adding customers to a tier
- Rewarding tier entry
- Syncing VIP tier tags with your platform
4. Syncs with ESPs (customer updates & events)
5. Birthday and anniversary rewards
6. Data reset actions
7. Rewards for reviews

Our team is prioritizing the most critical areas first—specifically Shopify updates, opt-in flows, and VIP tier functionality.

R&D team has implemented a fix for the issues outlined below and we are currently monitoring the systems to ensure the issue does not recur.

Yotpo Loyalty:
-Merchants were unable to access the Yotpo L&R admin.
-API might not be working

Yotpo Reviews:
-The “On-site Widgets” section in the Reviews admin was inaccessible.

Update - A fix has been implemented, and we are now able to access the Yotpo L&R admin.
The API is also functioning; however, some background jobs are still not running.
This may result in delays for customers in certain areas of the program.

Our R&D team is actively working to fully resolve the issue.
