Update - Our teams have identified that the issue also impacts the Email Status Dashboard, which may fail to load any data. In addition, moderation and other related services could experience intermittent disruptions.

Identified - Overall Description of the issue and Affected Services:

The Yotpo endpoint for fetching reviews and the on-site widgets is experiencing issues with showing the reviews.

Start Time:
Oct 21, 2025 - 17:30 (UTC).

Business Impact:
The Yotpo endpoint for fetching reviews might have failed with a request timeout error and the onsite review widget is failing to show the reviews. Moderation and other related services may be affected as well.

Update - We are seeing significant improvements across our services as we continue to recover from the earlier AWS outage. Functionality within both our Loyalty & Referrals and Reviews products is steadily being restored, and many features are now performing close to normal levels.

While recovery is well underway, some areas may still experience intermittent issues or slower performance as systems fully stabilize. Our teams continue to actively monitor progress and work to try and provide complete restoration. We’ll share a more detailed update as soon as the recovery is complete.

Update - Quick Update:

Due to the ongoing delay with AWS services, both our Referrals and Points features are currently down.

As a result, users may not be able to redeem points or complete referrals successfully at this time. Our team is actively monitoring the situation and working with AWS to get this resolved as quickly as possible.

We will keep you update as soon as we have further information or an ETA on resolution.

Monitoring - Due to an AWS outage, all our products experienced service disruptions, and a planned update from our side was also delayed.

As a result, no events were ingested from Shopify and other vendors between 9:50 AM and 12:20 PM. This outage affected all event types, and we are actively working to ensure data completeness and minimize any potential data loss.

We're currently seeing strong signs of recovery, with the majority of requests now succeeding. Our R&D team is continuing to process the backlog of queued requests to fully restore system performance.
